My journey is rooted in connection. My professional career started with third graders in a public school classroom and high school student athletes on a volleyball court.

Welcome!  I am Kelly Munkvold, LPC, NCC. Inquiring about therapy is a big first step, and I’m so glad you’re here.

I graduated from South Dakota State University with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, along with additional training in play therapy. After graduation, I began working in both community mental health and school settings, where I had the opportunity to work with individuals of all ages and in many different stages of life.

My path into this work began in community mental health and college counseling, where I learned the value of meeting people exactly where they are and supporting them through moments of transition, overwhelm, and growth.

Hello there! I have been a licensed professional counselor for 25 years, time flies when you are having fun! Over the course of my career, I have worked with adults, children, and adolescents in various residential and outpatient settings.
